Tzedek v’Shalom takes pride in its education programs. We offer Bar and Bat Mitzvah training, as well as many other learning opportunities for members of all ages.

Our school is held at Goodnoe Elementary School, Frost Lane in Newtown on Sunday mornings. Thursday afternoon classes are held at the homes of members.

The school is run by parents and by professional educators, working together in a nurturing environment. Class size is small, so students and teachers develop meaningful relationships, and children make new friends. Our rabbi is deeply involved in the school program, and takes the time to get to know every child and every family. Parents are encouraged to become involved, both by attending Sunday morning assembly programs with their children, and by teaching or helping out.

In addition, we offer a B’nai Mitzvah study group for teenagers, as well as other programs for older children and teens.
